The Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia hosted world-renowned clinical experts in the Mind-Body-Heart connection to support Australia’s wellness movement in May 2019.
As we witness 4th wave approaches in the mind-body space becoming more widely accepted, having 350 attendees from Australia and overseas attend events like this represents a major therapeutic paradigm shift.
The pre-conference workshop was designed for health and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Professionals only. The Professional Masterclass: EFT/Tapping for Trauma Relief and Resiliency Training was delivered by world leading trauma healing expert Dr. Lori Leyden who has spent years working with traumatized people in Rwanda, in the USA in post school shooting environments, and now with indigenous and refugee communities in Australia. All feedback from the Masterclass workshop was that it was outstanding, highly applicable to real world client work and inspirational. Partnering with Dr. Lori Leyden, the Mind Heart Connect Foundation has been bringing this work to indigenous and refugee communities in Australia, since 2017.
The start of the event on Friday focused on mindfulness and meditation with three world experts.
- Dr. Joe Dispenza, New York Times bestselling author of several books detailing the neuroscience of change and epigenetics, delivered “Making Your Mind Matter.”
- Tom Cronin, Founder of The Stillness Project, inspiring 1 billion people to meditate daily, delivered “Learn to Meditate and Walk with Simplicity in a Complex World.”
- Dr. David Hamilton, bestselling author, fusing science, the mind and spiritual wisdom, delivered “The Science of Self-Esteem.”
All speakers inspired and educated in evidence-based practices with their in depth presentations.
Saturday saw all the compelling keynote speakers take the stage for an hour each. This was an inspirational and thought-provoking day, exploring the wonders of mind-body-heart connections. Spanning from heartfelt, life-changing events to scientific research, all speakers heightened our awareness and provided practical solutions and techniques to implement in our daily lives.

- Dr. Peta Stapleton, Registered Clinical and Health Psychologist and world leader with research in the EFT field – “The Science Behind Tapping”
- Dr. Craig Weiner and Alina Frank, internationally known for their integrated mind body approach and EFT Master trainers – “Tapping for Relationships Success”
- Dr. Joe Dispenza – “Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon”
- Carol Look, Psychotherapist, EFT Master and a laser focused abundance coach – “Take Back Your Power: Using EFT to Align with the Vibration of Abundance”
- Dr. Lori Leyden, psychotherapist, trauma healing professional and humanitarian – “Global Healing IS Possible: Simple Inspired Actions Can Change the World!”
- Tom Cronin – “Inspired Leadership Through the Phase Shift”
The day concluded with a private screening of “Resilience – The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope.”
Sunday focused on helping attendees build on practical skills and techniques in specialized half-day workshops.
Fiona McGary professional comedian who uses the power of humor to heal, opened with “HAHA Humour and Heart Alignment” and was so brilliant as she lifted the audience with her unique ability to relate true life stories and events in a hilarious manner. We didn’t want it to end!
The half-day workshops (one in the morning and one after lunch), allowed attendees to choose two from the following:
- Carol Look – “The YES Code: Using EFT and Clarity for Personal and Professional Success”
- Dr. Craig Weiner and Alina Frank – “Using Energy Psychology to Target the Root Emotional Causes for Chronic Illness”
- Natalie Ledwell, Transformational coach who is also empowering millions of people across the globe with ‘Mind Movies’ – “Creating your Vision Board with Mind Movies”
This truly remarkable and unique event left everyone feeling inspired, empowered, equipped with effective evidence-based tools to lead a more balanced life and with the potential to create a groundswell of change in their own community.
This event was also endorsed by Australian College of Nursing (ACN) according to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Endorsed Course Standards. It was allocated CPD hours according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Continuing Professional Development Standard. All participants received a Certificate of Attendance post event.
