FAIM Conference Attendance and Insights

“Itis health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.”

~ Mahatma Gandhi

Without health, none of the other aspects in life that we attach importance to can be established to the degree that they otherwise would, if at all.

But the path to health for many of us is not a straight one. Beyond conventional approaches, the options for complementary and alternative treatments, whether to prevent illness and optimize health, or to heal from an existing illness, are seemingly endless. Navigating the various possibilities and the evolving evidence can be an overwhelming task.

FAIM works to make the process easier by collecting, analyzing and sharing this information for our readers in a variety of ways.

As part of our work to disseminate information on new frontiers in the science of complementary/alternative medicine, FAIM monitors and attends relevant conferences internationally. Through these conferences, we stay up-to-date with the most recent scientific advances, meet the people behind them, and summarize the most relevant information on our website.

For those who wish to attend conferences, we post upcoming events on our Events page and in our monthly Newsletter. Insights are published as articles after the event.

Upcoming conference: 8th International Congress on Naturopathic Medicine (ICNM) - July 2024

The next international conference we attend will be the 8th International Congress on Naturopathic Medicine (ICNM), which includes presentations from experts on major research developments in natural medicine, focusing on the themes of immunity, inflammation, and mental health.

In line with FAIM’s April Newsletter topic on cancer, one of the keynote speakers, Dr. Nasha Winters, ND, FABNO, L.Ac., will be giving a talk at the conference on “Nature’s original immunotherapy: Viscum Album Extract, mistletoe.”

The conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain, July 5-7, 2024. They have a 2 for 1 registration offer until April 30, 2024.
