In December 2015, Ben Swann became the first journalist to receive the CDC Whistleblower documents provided by Dr. William Thompson to Congress in 2014 regarding a 2004 CDC study on autism and vaccines.

Dr. Thompson, a senior scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has been with the CDC since 1998.

Following reports and media coverage in August 2014 that he and co-authors of a 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics omitted important information from the study on the link between vaccines and autism, Dr. Thompson released a statement that says, in part:

“I regret that my co-authors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics. The omitted data suggests that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism. Decisions were made regarding which findings to report after the data were collected, and I believe that the final study protocol was not followed.”

As Swann reported in an article titled CDC Whistleblower Admits Suppressing Information Regarding Vaccines and Autism in September 2014:

While Thompson goes on to explain that he believes that vaccines have saved and continue to save lives, he clearly admits that the CDC did in fact intentionally omit data that demonstrated a connection between an increased risk of autism in African American males who were giving the MMR vaccine before 36 months of age.

Thompson goes on to say that his reason for coming forward was because of conversations with Dr. Brian Hooker over the course of 10 months. Those conversations were about whether or not there is a connection between vaccines and neurodevelopmental outcomes including autism spectrum disorders. Thompson clearly states that his hand was forced by Hooker who secretly recorded the conversations.

Upon receiving the CDC Whistleblower documents in December 2015, Ben Swann, founder of Truth in Media and an award winning journalist (two Emmy awards and three Edward R. Murrow awards), organized a team of doctors, journalists, authors and former CDC specialists to analyze the documents.

This video documentary, released February 26, 2016, details the alleged corruption on the part of CDC leadership to manipulate and change the findings of the CDC study on autism and vaccines published in a 2004 article in the journal Pediatrics.
