Off Shore Stem Cell Clinic Report
FAIM feels it is vital that everyone learn the truth about autologous stem cell clinics and what wonderful goals are being accomplished. There is a push in the media lately to represent clinics in a questionable light. The fact is that there are many clinics doing very sound medical practice that should be recognized. We are presenting the Off Shore Stem Cell Clinic Report to help the reader get a good idea of what autologous stem cell science is all about and learn of clinics around the world.
The Off Shore Stem Cell Clinic Report has been developed by the International Cellular Medicine Society (ICMS). This is a 501c3 non-profit that represents physicians, researchers and patients from over 35 countries on 6 continents who are dedicated to the advancement of safe and effective stem cell therapies. As a Society, they believe:
- A well informed patient has a right to choose an appropriate medical therapy,
- Patients have a right to use their own cells in medical treatments,
- Peer oversight is critical for the advancement of safe medical procedures, and
- Adult stem cell therapy is the realization of Hippocrates philosophy of the body curing itself, or "vis medicatrix naturae."
The ICMS serves patients, physicians and researchers through:
- The management of a robust Treatment Registry that provides long term patient follow up and outcomes and complications tracking.
- The publication of its laboratory practice, clinical and re-implantation Guidelines that provide physicians with best practice standards for the collection, processing and re-implantation of stem cells in a clinical setting.
- The publication of an annual Off Shore Stem Cell Clinic Report that provides an unbiased and informative survey to allow patients and physicians to compare the practices of stem cell clinics worldwide.
If you are a physician or a researcher, please Join the ICMS.
