Executive Order — Establishing the National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council

It is with great enthusiasm that FAIM shares the recent Executive Order from President Obama. With all the speculation that the health care system in the United States could possibly bankrupt the country in years to come, it is great to see that the leaders recognize the importance of prevention. Studies in genetics have confirmed that we are born with particular tendencies, but it is our choice of life style, foods we eat and thoughts we think that actually determine our destiny in most cases. Now is the time to look at our lifestyles so we can live long healthy lives. This Executive Order is a positive step to help people learn how to make good choices.
