Historical Background

Thomas Aksnes

The Foundation for Alternative and Integrative Medicine (FAIM) is studying a wide range of signal and frequency technologies used in health. These are devices that claim to be able to scan the body and treat imbalances using frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum. Some of these technologies were perfected in research projects of the former Soviet Union that aimed to develop an effective form of non-pharmacological medicine for the space program. This was needed because orbiting space stations need to recycle the wastewater. Pharmaceutical residues would build up in the water and contaminate it beyond human consumption. So the Soviets developed and proved the effective use of a series of devices that were taken into space.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many of the scientists in different technology programs have spun off to the private sector to create their own marketable versions of these devices. FAIM is collaborating with Thomas Aksnes, a Norwegian independent researcher and entrepreneur who has spent years thoroughly study the Soviet technology. Using the knowledge acquired, Thomas Aksnes has developed the Personal Therapy Device (PTD), a proprietary miniature technology that addresses symptoms using programmed series of electromagnetic signals. FAIM is helping Aksnes establish rigorous clinical trials that can quantify the effectiveness and usefulness of such a novel technology.

Thomas Aksnes' entrepreneurial spirit and years of experience treating his own personal health problems, have driven him to create a comprehensive clinical system of assessment and balancing. His company synergistically uses three established technologies: the French EIS (Electro Interstitial Scan), the Russian Introspect Oberon, and the Hungarian SCIO. We invite the readers to access directly the HealthTech Sciences web site to find out the details of each of these technologies and explore this fascinating field of medicine.
