Tina Craig
In January 2011, the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) announced a brand new EFT Certification Program designed by Tina Craig, who both designed and directed the program offered by EFT Founder, Gary Craig, from 2008 until his retirement in 2010. The primary goal of this program is to provide high quality, professional training in the original EFT instruction.
Since the release of EFT in the early 90's, practitioners have been encouraged to create, combine and experiment with the basic instruction. One look on the internet today will show the wide variety of EFT practice and instruction There are seemingly endless opportunities for EFT instruction and credentials, provided by individuals as well as organizations, and offering many different versions of EFT. While it's exciting to have all those variations available, it can be confusing to those who prefer to master the original first.

Gary Craig, retired Founder of EFT
By 2008, Gary Craig, the Founder of EFT, recognized this as a challenge for the overall survival of EFT. He launched his own EFT Certification Program to distinguish the original from all the variations and provide a new level of clarity and consistency to EFT instruction. That program was designed for him by Tina Craig who had been working by his side for many years. As his daughter, she brought a unique perspective for translating his effortless EFT delivery into valuable teaching material.
In 2010, Gary Craig retired and the EFT Certification Program was closed. During this transition, ACEP formed a partnership with Tina Craig, who has based this new program on all the same material and philosophies she used to create the EFT Certification Program, and has expanded it in this new environment to include practical experience, webinars, online exams and consultation. Her goal is to preserve the EFT founder's original instruction and provide an opportunity for professionals to obtain solid credentials in the purest version of EFT.

General EFT Instruction
Since designing the new EFT program for ACEP, Tina Craig has been co-authoring an online tutorial with her father, Gary Craig, to provide updated, streamlined EFT instruction to the public. This Tutorial will replace the EFT Manual and EFT DVDs as the official instruction, and will be a valuable reference for anyone wanting to distinguish the original from other variations. It does not include any certification, but it does draw a clear line to the tools and philosophy now being used at ACEP.
The Tutorial will be released in the next few months and a link will be provided here. Meanwhile, updates on its progress can be found at the World Center for EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).
